New Yorkers enjoyed a high of 78 degrees today. What is the biggest effect this warm sunny weather had on the students of Columbia? Besides an epidemic of gladiator sandals and summer dresses (think Resort wear), classes flock to sit on the newly opened lawns to have class outside. Is there a better place to discuss American history than outside of Hamilton Hall? I suppose the only conceivable distractions might be the other activities also taking place on these lawns -- young children climbing trees, boys playing frisbee, and girls tanning.
